CURTAINS is a musical send-up of backstage murder mystery plots, set in 1959 Boston, Massachusetts and follows the fallout when the supremely untalented star of Robbin' Hood of the Old West is murdered during her opening night curtain call. Can a police detective who moonlights as a musical theater fan save the show, solve the case, and maybe even find love before the show reopens, without getting killed himself? From the award winning team that brought us Chicago and Cabaret, this Tony Award Winner is the final collaboration of John Kandar and the late Fred Ebb. Recommended for theatregoers 12 and over.

“I would love to see this again. I recommend it to anyone who wants to laugh and have an enjoyable evening. The play was written well and the actors brought the script to life. The acting was better than I imagined. If you don't see 'CURTAINS' at the Sacramento Runway Stage - you will indeed miss out on an opportunity of a lifetime.” - Theatre Patron, Sacbee.com |
